What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Complete the weekly procurement process, ensuring timely, efficient, and accurate delivery to site, remaining cost-conscious at all times
• Apply the correct P&L coding and receipt of goods to ensure accurate month-end results, ensuring prompt resolution of queries
• Help produce clear, accurate weekly results and accounts to the client and internal customers, providing informative analysis of data to the operation
• Actively promote a continuous improvement culture within the team, and work with appropriate parties to improve processes that impact the department

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience in a similar finance assistant role; experience in logistics would be beneficial
• Ability to analyze data and communicate results to the operation effectively
• Experience working with MS Excel, with creativity and a desire to help build new files to aid analysis and reporting
• AAT qualified or equivalent (or willing to study towards)
