Job summary

A well-established manufacturing company in Northern Ireland is seeking an ambitious Accountant to support the Finance Director. The ideal candidate will ensure cost efficiency and profitability through accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities include preparing management accounts, analyzing production efficiency and KPIs, and liaising with operational teams. Candidates should be CIMA/ACA qualified or part-qualified, with strong analytical skills and experience in manufacturing. This role offers a salary of £40k-£50k, half-day Fridays, and flexi-time.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts and annual budgets.
• Analysis of production costs, material variances and labour efficiency.
• Monitoring KPIs and performance metrics across manufacturing operations.
• Development and enhancement of cost control processes.
• Financial modelling to support investment, capacity planning and pricing strategy.
• Liaising with production, supply chain and senior management teams.
