Cleaner
Job summary
A leading facilities services provider in Shrewsbury is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join the cleaning team. Responsibilities include maintaining safe environments, dusting, sanitising, and handling cleaning supplies. Ideal candidates will have strong organisational skills and a flexible approach, with cleaning experience preferred. This position is contracted for 25 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Must enjoy hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safe and hygienic environments for clients and customers.
- Dust, sweep, polish, mop, and vacuum areas to a high standard.
- Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows, and touchpoints regularly.
- Perform additional cleaning duties as required.
- Dispose of bin waste properly.
- Monitor and re-stock cleaning supplies.
Skills
We're currently recruiting a part time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 25 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
- Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
- Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
- Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
- Emptying and disposing of bin waste
- Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
Our ideal Cleaner will:
- Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a hands-on role
- Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
- Have a flexible approach to working
