Wood is recruiting an experienced Project Coordinator to support our project team based at Stockton office.
This role is a hybrid working with the expectation of working 3 days from our site office.
The Role
You will create delivery excellence across the assigned projects, provide certainty and confidence to the customer/project sponsor, and robust control of project scope, schedule, cost and risk. This role will support the management of personnel CAFs, ensuring project compliance and a focal point for imperium on active projects.
Development in this role has the potential to lead a defined small project or subset of a larger project, managing scope, cost, schedule and risk, managing change and ensuring appropriate reporting and governance is in place.
Supports the project team by overseeing and monitoring project progress according to agreed measures and organizational procedures, recommending corrective action where necessary. Responsible for ensuring that the scope is defined and understood, schedule is adhered to, cost/budget targets are met and for managing safety and risk. Require knowledge and experience of the technical/functional area being managed and an awareness of the business issues.
This role will also be responsible for the coordination of the Stockton Office work share with our overseas execution centre.

The Process & Energy is part of the business, which sits in the Operations team, offering a wide range of opportunities which will allow you to develop your skills across a portfolio of onshore projects in different sectors. Our current portfolio includes green hydrogen and fuel switching, as well as supporting local clients with energy transition. Additionally, we work on UK refineries, petrochemical facilities, fine chemicals and pharmaceutical facilities. We have number of clients who we are working with to design their pilot plants to test exciting new technologies, with a view to partnering with them as they move to design and build full scale commercial facilities.
