As the HSE Officer your responsibilities are as follows:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on HSE standards and best practices.
- To Develop and maintain the companies ISO 14001, 45001 standards
- Monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Investigate incidents and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure all documentation and records are maintained accurately and up to date.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry standards in Sheffield and beyond.
A successful HSE Officer should have:
- A relevant qualification in health, safety, or environmental management.
- Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and records.
