A leading IT consultancy in the UK is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure VMware solutions. The role involves extensive collaboration, defining virtual desktop infrastructure solutions, and ensuring performance and security. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of VMware technologies and the ability to influence decision-making in a hybrid working environment.

- Proven experience designing and implementing VMware Horizon View in secure enterprises.
- Deep knowledge of VMware vSAN architecture and performance optimisation.
- Strong VMware vCenter and ESXi host management skills.

- Expertise in Horizon planning: display protocols (Blast Extreme, PCoIP), desktop pools and application provisioning.
- Ability to work independently, influence decisions and own outcomes.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent.
- Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for image automation.
- Shape enterprise virtualisation strategy and see your designs in production.
- Work with supportive teams that value craftsmanship, clarity and impact.
