A food manufacturing company in Peterborough is seeking an HR Generalist to support the HR agenda, drive business growth, and manage complex employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a CIPD qualification and experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and the ability to influence at all levels are essential. This role offers opportunities for growth within a global leader in flavour.

Qualifications

  • HR related qualification (CIPD).
  • Proven experience of providing generalist HR support in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of driving change management in a start-up or significant transformation.
  • Knowledge of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) culture is preferable.
  • Ability to coach teams and leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Experience in managing employee relations in a fast-paced matrix environment.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority at all levels.
  • Proven experience in building talent development plans.
  • Ability to work remotely with autonomy.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Support the HR agenda at the site.
  • Ensure organisational design and resource capability are in place.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues.
  • Work with HR expert functions to deploy HR processes.
  • Provide guidance on interpreting people aspects of business programs.
  • Operationalize strategic HR initiatives and execute at site level.
  • Participate in Regional and Global HR Projects.
