We are looking for a Facilities and HR Advisor to support the UK and Ireland business to ensure that we offer a people first approach whilst maintaining safe, compliant and engaging environments. This a busy generalist role with wide and varied tasks to get stuck into.

How you’ll help us.

Based in our UK and Ireland head office in Warrington, reporting to the HR Director, as part of the role, you’ll be responsible for:

Facilities Management:

  • Co-ordinate repairs, maintenance and all health and safety compliance
  • Liaise with contractors, landlords and suppliers to manage contracts, cleaners, utilities and building compliance
  • Carry out regular audits and inspections to ensure high office standards are maintained
  • Keep accurate records of leases, maintenance schedules and compliance certificates
  • Responsible for company car fleet; sourcing vehicles, supporting team members with any issues, completing reports for head office

HR:

  • Act as first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries for wholesale and retail
  • Offer first line HR advice to Managers (wholesale & retail staff) as needed
  • Keep up to date with latest employment legislation
  • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization
  • Work closely with HR Operations team in Head Office to ensure smooth processes for employees
  • Co-ordinate job ads, organise interviews and liaise with central recruitment team in Head Office
  • Mentor and guide new joiners with their onboarding
  • Co-ordinate local training courses
  • Create new and fresh engagement activities in line with ‘sound mind sound body philosophy’

More about you.

  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and practical HR experience (CIPD qualified level 5)
  • IOSH/NEBOSH or facilities related qualification advantageous
  • You must be confident and experienced in dealing with a wide range of Employee Relations casework
  • You will be a strong communicator who can confidently engage with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels and challenge the status quo
  • A collaborative, adaptable, and resilient approach with a passion for people.
