Job summary
A leading organisation in the UK is seeking an experienced Interim Group Finance Director to cover a 15-month contract starting in February 2026. You will oversee group financial operations, reporting, and governance across UK and international entities. The role requires exceptional technical accounting skills, stakeholder engagement, and experience managing large finance functions. Key responsibilities include financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and driving performance improvements. This hybrid role based in Whiteley offers a competitive salary of £120,000 - £140,000.
Qualifications
- Extensive leadership experience in finance functions.
- Proven experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Experience managing large finance functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead Group financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Oversee Group consolidation and IFRS compliance.
- Support Board and investor reporting.
- Provide commercial insight for performance improvement.
- Manage billing, credit control and payroll.
- Lead audit processes and strengthen financial controls.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance operations.
