Descripción de la vacante
A public sector agency in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive individual to undertake various responsibilities related to non-native species control. You will work under the direction of a Higher Executive Officer, engaging in tasks such as investigating escapes, conducting educational outreach, and collecting data to assess risks. The role involves potential use of firearms for control measures. Ideal candidates should be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Formación
- Experience with contingency responses and controlling non-native species.
- Ability to conduct inspections and educate on biosecurity.
- Strong report writing and data collection skills.
Responsabilidades
- Plan and undertake a programme of tasks under HEO direction.
- Investigate escapes of non-native species and assist with re-capture.
- Promote NNSI objectives at various events.
