Job summary
A client organization is seeking a Principal Planning Officer to manage a solar farm application in Doncaster. The role involves overseeing development, coordinating with national infrastructure projects, and collaborating with local authorities to address capacity issues. Candidates should have experience in planning and development management at a Principal Planner level, with specific experience in solar farm planning or national infrastructure projects. This position offers flexible work arrangements for 3 days a week.
Qualifications

- Experience with national infrastructure projects.
- Solar farm planning experience or involvement in development consent orders.
Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the development of a solar farm in Doncaster.
- Coordinate with national infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with local authority to address capacity issues.
Our client is recruiting for a Principal Planning Officer for their Doncaster Office to manage a solar farm application until the funding runs out or the project completes. The role is part of a national infrastructure project with bespoke milestones and is overseen by the government, requiring local authority support.
