Job summary
An established engineering firm in Ashford seeks an experienced Planner to join its production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating shop-floor activity, ensuring materials are available at the right time. Responsibilities include managing kitting activities, liaising with Purchasing for material availability, and maintaining MRP parameters. This role is crucial for achieving production readiness and supporting customer delivery targets.
Qualifications
- Experience in planning and coordinating shop-floor activities.
- Proven record of managing kitting activities.
- Familiarity with MRP and ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate shop-floor activity to support production schedules.
