A leading FMCG company based in Warrington with hybrid working are looking for a Supply Planner to join their team for an initial 6 month with the potential for further extension/go permanent. You will be responsible for managing stock deployment from manufacturing sites to meet customer demand. You will ensure a clear visibility of the supply plan, ensure inventory is kept at optimum levels and be the primary point of contact for all matters internally relating to inventory.
About the role:
Develops and owns the supply plan for both finished goods and raw materials, ensuring alignment with business policies and known constraints
Creates stock deployment plans to optimise product availability across all plants
Oversees inventory management for finished goods, raw materials, and any contract-related materials exposure
Ensures accurate stock records within third-party logistics (3PL) and warehouse systems
Collaborates closely with suppliers to ensure supply plans are achievable, constraints are addressed, mutual processes are followed, and issues are resolved quickly
Manages inventory levels to minimise the risk of overstocking or stockouts, while ensuring availability-to-promise dates are communicated and expedited as needed
Maintains inventory quality through effective non-conformance management, status tracking, and product traceability
Builds and updates supply planning scenarios and conducts sensitivity analyses to support informed business decisions
Prepares and maintains inputs for the IBP process
