Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer in Glenrothes is seeking a Material Planner to join their supply chain team. The successful candidate will manage customer MRP, oversee inventory management, and work closely with production teams to ensure effective material planning. Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar role and strong skills in SAP and MS Office. This is a great opportunity to contribute to exciting defence projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role in Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of SAP is necessary.
  • Strong MS Office skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Managing customer MRP.
  • Process improvement.
  • Validate and release work orders.
  • Material planning for production orders.
  • Track progress with other teams.
  • Work with Master Scheduler to plan production.
  • Inventory management and reporting.
  • Attend a variety of meetings.
  • Generate reports for Project Management.
  • Maintain Kanban & safety stock.

Raytheon UK have a great opportunity to join our supply chain team in Manufacturing supporting defence projects. This varied role has a range of tasks to support customer orders in a busy environment.

Responsibilities
  • Managing customer MRP
  • Process improvement
  • Validate and release work orders
  • Material planning for production orders
  • Track progress with other teams in Quality, Goods Inn & Procurement
  • Work with Master Scheduler to plan production
  • Inventory management and reporting
  • Attend a variety of meetings
  • Generate reports e.g. "What If" for Project Management and teams as required
  • Maintain Kanban & safety stock
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role in Supply Chain and Manufacturing
  • SAP
