This role offers the opportunity to champion innovation and develop transformational programmes that equip graduates with advanced knowledge and skills for emerging developments in Psychology.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Psychology in Higher Education, with an understanding of applying theory to real-world contexts. Experience in Higher Education teaching and familiarity with professional standards are essential.
The role involves teaching across core areas of the BPS-accredited Psychology curriculum and across departmental programmes. Knowledge of quantitative research methods, statistics, and experience with psychology equipment or technical support are particularly valued.
As an Associate Lecturer, you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure excellent student education and experience, strengthen relationships with relevant employers, and innovate pedagogical approaches utilizing available technologies.
For an informal discussion or more information, contact Dr. Helen McEwan, Head of Department Psychology, at hmcewan@ucb.ac.uk.
The interview will be face-to-face on 19 August 2025 at our Summer Row Campus.
