Job summary
A global medical technology company is hiring a Sales Support Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term remote contract. The role requires supporting the sales team by managing quotation requests, proposal preparations, and CRM updates. Ideal candidates should have two years of experience in sales or account management, strong phone skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. This role is driven by a need for proactive lead generation and efficient customer communication.
Qualifications
- Ideally two years of experience in Inside Sales or Account Management via phone and email.
- Ability to learn quickly and ensure timely follow-up.
- Energetic, motivated self-starter with good organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Support Territory Managers and UK Sales Manager.
- Respond to quotation requests and prepare proposals.
- Identify and develop key contacts within prospect accounts.

This will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract. The position is remote.
As a Sales Support Specialist, you’ll be the engine behind our sales team’s success. Working closely with the Territory Managers and UK Sales Manager to support the Business Partner network, these duties could include:
- Quotation Requests
- Proposal Preparation
- Updating CRM
- Setting up appointments
- Communicating with Business Partner Network
The candidate will need to develop and create methods for researching and qualifying new potential customer segments and markets to drive new business. The candidate will be comfortable speaking with a wide range of customers, in different markets and industries.
- Identify and qualify opportunities from lead generation activities, inbound product inquiries and cold calling campaigns into defined target groups
- Identify and develop key contacts and decision makers within prospect accounts
- Utilise consultative sales approach to evaluate and understand customers' business and needs
- Cold-calling potential customers, be able to generate own sales leads
- Communicate ZOLL Medical's value proposition and tailor to customer needs
- Timely and accurate data entry of all pertinent customer information into the ZOLL CRM database
- Ideally two years of experience in an Inside Sales, Lead Development or Account Management role developing relationships across a wide range of customers/clients via phone and email.
- Ability to learn quickly, ensure timely and accurate follow-up
- Excellent phone and computer skills (MS Office Suite)
- Proven experience using the internet to conduct research
- Ability to perform individually with specific direction and manage time efficiently
- Develop an organised daily routine of reviewing leads, making outbound calls, and responding to customer emails
- Energetic, creative, motivated self-starter, goal oriented and a team player
- Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM applications is a plus
