As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You’ll also support the clinical team in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. You’ll always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well as playing your part in creating an environment that’s warm, welcoming and vibrant.

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Respect the dignity and preferences of residents and contribute to a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
• Ensure delivery of quality, person-centred care.

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) to join as a Senior Care Assistant.
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development; career progression opportunities available (e.g., Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles).
