Job summary

A dedicated NHS hospital in the UK is seeking a Health Care Assistant for their operating theatres. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, and experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an operating theatre environment. Successful candidates will assist surgical teams and help prepare for surgeries, contributing to a high standard of patient care. The position is full-time with shifts from 07:30 - 19:30, Monday to Friday. Suitable training and support will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience within an Operating Theatre or hospital environment is desirable.
• Current experience of working in a UK Healthcare setting as an HCA is required.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
• Undertake housekeeping as needed to ensure a suitable Theatre environment.
• Provide physical and psychological support to the patient.
• Assist the surgical team with assigned tasks.
• Adhere to confidentiality policies.
