We are working with a leading general insurance group to recruit an Underwriting and Pricing Risk Manager to support their Group Risk & Compliance function. Reporting to the Head of Financial Risk, this newly created role will play a key part in providing 2nd line oversight of underwriting and pricing risks across the business, with a focus on embedding effective model risk management and supporting the delivery of ORSA processes.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Providing 2nd line oversight and assurance of underwriting and pricing risks, including deep dive reviews, policy updates, and risk event reporting.
2. Supporting the application of the Risk Management Framework to identify, assess, and monitor material risks within underwriting and pricing functions.
3. Assisting in the design and delivery of group-wide ORSA processes and stress testing.
4. Helping to embed and oversee the Group's Model Risk Management Framework, with particular focus on underwriting and pricing models.
5. Liaising with the wider Finance and Actuarial functions to support oversight of reinsurance and investment strategies.
6. Attending and contributing to relevant governance forums such as Underwriting and Pricing Committees.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified actuary, or a financial risk professional with relevant experience, to take on a strategic oversight role in a dynamic and forward-looking environment.
