Job summary
A recruitment agency is looking for a Group Accountant to support the business during a period of change. This 3-month fixed-term contract may extend or become permanent depending on business needs. Responsibilities include managing the balance sheet, producing management accounts, and providing financial analysis. Responsibilities
- Own the balance sheet and keep all reconciliations accurate.
- Manage intercompany accounts and resolve queries quickly.
- Produce monthly management accounts for all sites.
- Deliver clear month-on-month performance reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow updates.
- Provide sharp, actionable P&L and variance analysis.
- Maintain strong financial controls and clean ledgers.
- Prepare audit files and assist with year-end processes.
