Assistant Management Accountant: Month-End & Analysis
Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant in Hounslow. The ideal candidate will be studying towards CIMA or ACCA and have previous accounting experience, especially in month-end processes. Responsibilities include intercompany accounting, revenue recognition, and assisting with fixed asset management. Strong Excel skills are essential. This varied role offers the opportunity to work closely with the management and financial accountants to enhance efficiencies within the team.
Qualifications
- Currently studying towards CIMA, ACCA or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous accounting experience and exposure to month end within a corporate environment.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
Responsibilities
- Intercompany accounting.
- Assist with preparation of revenue recognition and billing.
- Manage fixed assets and capital purchases.
- Prepare accruals and prepayments.
- Conduct overheads analysis.
- Assist with purchase and sales ledger entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and allocations.
- Post journals and payments.
