Job summary
Une société d'avocats dynamique recherche un avocat en construction spécialisé dans l'énergie propre pour rejoindre son équipe à Bristol. Le candidat idéal aura au moins 4 ans d'expérience en droit de la construction, avec une solide compréhension des projets liés aux énergies renouvelables tels que les contrats EPC. Qualifications
- Au moins 4 ans d'expérience en droit de la construction ou commercial.
- Expérience dans le secteur des énergies renouvelables est un plus.

Job Description
We are looking for a talented Clean Energy Construction lawyer to join our busy team. Candidates should have at least 4 years of construction, commercial, and/or projects experience within the clean energy sector, although we would also welcome applications from those with transactional experience within the sector.
This role involves working directly with Bristol-based Energy Construction Partner Suriya Edwards, London-based Head of Clean Energy Clare King, and Leeds-based Clean Energy Partner Deborah Harvey. Additionally, the successful candidate will collaborate with team members across Bristol, Birmingham, Sheffield, and Nottingham. Depending on seniority, you could be based out of any of our 13 offices.
You will be supported by a wider sector team of approximately 90 lawyers across our offices, including practice areas such as real estate, corporate, finance, environment, planning, and dispute resolution. Key contacts include Alex Johnson and Stephen Evans (Construction), Michael Bray (Real Estate), Emily Settle (Corporate), and our dedicated PSL for the clean energy sector, Shraiya Thapa.
The successful candidate will work on matters including:
- BESS Supply Agreements (including with major world-renowned BESS manufacturers)
- EPC contracts
- O&M & LTSAs
- Component Warranties
- Clean energy project developments, acquisitions, and disposals
Familiarity with technologies such as BESS, solar PV, wind, hydro, energy-from waste, biogas, hydrogen, EV charging infrastructure, and district heating would be advantageous. Further information about the team can be found on our website: Clean Energy Solicitors | Renewable Energy | Freeths
