Serco have a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics & Technical Support Supervisor to join the team at RNAS Culdrose.

In this pivotal role, you will provide the technical interface within W16 for the management and delivery of Deployable Spares Packs (DSP's), View & Verify activity for non-IMOS stores items, Anti-Deterioration Maintenance (ADM) of uninstalled assets inclusive of Role Equipment (RE) and electronic data activities.

The Merlin Helicopter Force (MHF) Logs & DSP Technical Support Supervisor will form part of the AESAS team at RNAS Culdrose, supporting MHF Operational tasking through management of uninstalled aviation assets within W16 at RNAS Culdrose to support management of uninstalled assets in support of MHF operational tasking, with the capacity to support at other military establishments as required.

• Assist Technical Support PO with DSP asset data in GOLDesp/Data Integrity in W16.
• Ensure the Data Integrity of DSP's issued to receiving units is complaint with current/extant policy.
• The AESAS Support Manager is to be made aware of all business risks.
• Raise Certificate of Conformity (CofC) and SMS 05 for deploying DSPs, highlighting any issues to the receiving unit.
• Conduct ADM and equipment conditioning activity of items held within DSPs at RNAS Culdrose.
• To be an Engineering point of contact for deployed DSPs.
• Conduct ADM for non-IMOS stores items held within W16.
• Conduct 6-monthly ADM of uninstalled RE held within W16.
• Assist the Technical Support PO with the tracking, monitoring and associated lifing data of RE held in W16.
• Viewing, Verifying and coordinating equipment conditioning of unserviceable assets, including SCRAP items, ensuring correct application of the Serviceability, Maintenance and Recoverability (SMR) codes and identifying items requiring Special Category Work (SCW).
• Assist Technical Support PO with ensuring tracked assets either receipted as new, repaired, or reconditioned are updated or created in GOLDesp prior to putting into stock.
• Adhering to local procedures as necessary.
• Monitor GOLDesp tracked assets associated to W16 segregation code.
• Isolating ADM and life expired assets and forwarding items to relevant repair facilities.
• Process all Culdrose embarked aviation air managed asset returns; promptly feeding assets into the correct repair chain, reconditioning assets as required.
• Conditioning of W16 air stores including RE and DSP stocks (S, R2, R3/4, Scrap) inside and outside source trade.
• Report Quality issues relating to assets that fail to meet the required standard; returned Serviceable or Unserviceable, R2 and R3/4 from either Vendor or from 1st and 2nd Line Maintenance units.
• Manage W16 rejections.
• Assist W16 in the tracking of missing high value assets in an investigating role using GOLDesp (within the bounds of W16 and limits of GOLDesp access), where there are no further information leads for Senior Stores Staff to act on.
• All contracted tasks are carried out in a timely manner and in accordance with current Customer Policy and Regulations and other applicable statutory Regulations.
• The AESAS Support Manager is to be made aware of all business risks.
• All verbal and written customer complaints and Quality issues are brought to the attention of the AESAS Support Manager.
• The AESAS Support Manager is informed when regulatory, continuation, induction, human factors, promotion, on-job and new equipment training is required for employees.
• All employees under their control comply with:

• Ensuring best practice and assurance of regulatory compliance by the utilisation of DASOR, Assure and any other reporting medium to capture and communicate findings and actions from engineering, safety and near miss events.
• They participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and associated programmes when required.
• To remain flexible and carry out any other tasks within their capabilities and experience in support of the Contract as directed by the Contract Director or their representative.
• To promote Serco's professional Company image in all liaisons with internal and external agencies.

• Experience in military/industry airworthiness environment equivalent.
• Meet the requirements of RA4806 for award of MAM-P authorisations as required.
• To have write-access to JAMES, GOLDesp, MJDI and CIETP electronic systems.
• Be trained to conduct servicing on ASE/GSE/HUSLE equipment.
• To be a certified as a Risk Assessor.
• To have successfully completed all mandatory MoD, NCHQ and local training courses iaw extant policy and regulation pertinent to civilian contract personnel working within the RNAS Culdrose Military Maintenance Organisation (MMO).
• A good working knowledge of the following:
• Health and Safety, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH). Regulations, Tool Control and Quality Practices.
• Engineering and Asset Management Systems.
• Completed a Maintenance Human Factors Course.
• Good people management experience.
• A good capability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining operational output.
