A regional recruitment agency is seeking a dynamic Practice Manager to lead the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub team in Ipswich, UK. The role involves making management decisions, ensuring quality safeguarding triage, and promoting collaboration with various partners. The ideal candidate has MASH experience, is a qualified Social Worker, and possesses strong leadership skills. This temporary contract offers up to £45 per hour with a hybrid working pattern.
Qualifications
- Must have 3 years of social worker experience.
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.

Suffolk County Council is seeking a dynamic Practice Manager to lead and support our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub team.
Location: Landmark House, Ipswich
Rate: Up to £45 per hour
Working Pattern: 2/3 days in the office
Contract Type: Temporary
- Make timely and effective management decisions in line with the Suffolk Thresholds Document.
- Lead a team of skilled practitioners and social workers within the MASH.
- Ensure high-quality safeguarding triage and decision-making across multi-agency referrals.
- Promote collaborative working with health, police, education, and other partners.
- Drive performance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
- Must have MASH experience.
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding thresholds and multi‑agency working.
