A dedicated educational organization in Maldon is seeking an EOTAS Tutor to support secondary-aged students with emotional anxiety. This role involves delivering personalized lessons and fostering emotional well-being. Ideal candidates will have Qualified Teaching Status and experience in tailored education. You will work flexibly across community venues to make a lasting impact in students' lives.
EOTAS Tutor - Supporting Students with Emotional Anxiety
📍 Location: Maldon, Essex
📘 Focus: 1:1 Tuition for Secondary-Aged Student with Anxiety Year 11) in person at Library
📚 Provision Type: Educated Other Than at School (EOTAS)
Pay up to £30 per hour umbrella / £26 PAYE for experienced/qualified teachers
3 hours per day Term Time Only. Mornings. Monday to Friday. Additional student can be added to the afternoon
Immediate Start to end of academic year continuing through to July 2026

We're proud to be partnering with a forward-thinking alternative provision to recruit dedicated EOTAS Tutors to deliver personalised educational programmes to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including Anxiety. These students are currently educated outside of a traditional school environment, and your role will be pivotal in helping them re‑engage with learning and build brighter futures.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced educators looking to make a meaningful impact in a flexible, non‑mainstream setting.
As an EOTAS Tutor, you'll work closely with secondary‑aged learners, either one‑to‑one or in small groups, in community‑based settings or at home. Your focus will be on promoting academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth—while building strong relationships with both learners and their families. Students will require support with KS4 learning (Year 11 student) following a long period of absence from school.
