Profile

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a busy and reputable Legionella Company, who provide the full range of legionella compliance services. Our client is now seeking to recruit an organised and business minded Legionella Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients across the Yorkshire area. The successful candidate will have hands on site experience within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry and will be able to manage and support a team of Legionella Risk Assessors, oversee a portfolio of clients, take responsibility for service delivery decisions, and carry out Quality Checks on Legionella Risk Assessments.

Experience & Qualifications

• Current / Previous experience working as an operation manager or similar position, for an established Legionella / Water Treatment Company.
• Able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of ACoP L8 and Relevant HSG guidelines.
• Extensive Legionella site experience.
• Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively and in line with business needs.
• Will have excellent managerial and communication skills.
• Must have basic IT skills.

The Role

• Overseeing an team of Legionella Risk Assessors and providing on-going training and site support.
• Quality Checking risk assessments and ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Day to day running of the company’s legionella department – scheduling works and ensuring jobs are carried out on schedule and to the company’s high standard.
• Overseeing a portfolio of clients – acting as point of reference for all client queries.
• Promoting continuous improvement to the companies services.
• Working closely with internal management to help with the progression of the business.
• Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.
