Job summary
A construction firm in the South East of England is seeking a Site Supervisor/No 2 Site Manager to support the Senior Site Manager on refurbishment projects starting from January. This freelance role offers a competitive pay of £25-£26 per hour for 12-hour days. Candidates should have necessary qualifications, including SMSTS/SSSTS, a CSCS Card, and First Aid. Qualifications
- Must have SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- CSCS Card is required.
- 3 Day First Aid qualification is necessary.
- Experience working in a live environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Update RAMS for ongoing projects.
- Coordinate handovers and sign-offs effectively.
- Implement and improve existing procedures.
- Lead the daily activities on site.
- Prepare site documents including work orders.
- Ensure successful completion and handover of work.
- Achieve quality standards through inspection plans.
- Communicate with clients and subcontractors.
Skills
Supporting the Senior Site Manager on refurbishment works on a key projects in the South East & London. These projects are due to start in January, in the New Year with a view to ongoing works throughout the year.

- Update and check against the construction Programme
- Preparation of site documents such as work orders and purchase orders etc.
- Responsible for the successful completion and handover of sections of work on site
- Ensuring quality standards are achieved implementing inspection and test plans.
- Communicate effectively with the client, sub - contractors and senior management team
This is a freelance contract with a competitive rate (£25 - £26 Per Hour - 12 hour days).
