A construction and infrastructure company in Sulham, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Civils Site Supervisor for a major water industry project. This role involves leading a team on-site for a £27m sewage treatment works upgrade, requiring SSSTS and CSCS qualifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in deep excavations and a proactive leadership style. With a competitive daily rate of £300-£320, this long-term contract offers stability and the opportunity to significantly contribute to regional water infrastructure improvements.
Are you a Civils Site Supervisor with hands‑on experience in the water industry?
If you've worked on non‑infrastructure or treatment‑works projects and thrive in challenging, heavy‑industry environments, this Berkshire-based opportunity is built for you. Your SSSTS qualification and deep understanding of excavations, temporary works, and on‑site safety could make you the key leader on a major £27m upgrade project.
You’ll join a critical programme improving sewage treatment works, part of a multi‑year framework running through to summer 2027. This upgrade will increase capacity, improve effluent quality, and reduce phosphorus levels and untreated discharges, directly contributing to government storm overflow targets for 2030.
As Site Supervisor, you’ll be fully based on‑site, leading a gang and taking day‑to‑day responsibility for safe, efficient delivery. This is a role for someone who gets involved, leads from the front, and drives high standards on deep excavations, trenching, and civils activities.
You’ll be stepping into a long‑term contract offering stability, continuity of work, and the potential to move across major projects within the framework. The site culture is collaborative, proactive, and built around people who don’t mind rolling up their sleeves and wearing multiple hats.
With the chance to earn £300‑£320 per day (CIS) and the opportunity to play a major part in a transformative regional project, this is a chance to put your skills to work where they genuinely matter.
