Job summary

A major mental health service provider in the UK seeks a full-time Community Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist. This role entails managing community-based patients, ensuring compliance with mental health provisions, and coordinating care. Applicants must hold GMC specialist registration in Forensic Psychiatry, Approved Clinician status, and have a CCT in Forensic Psychiatry or be near completion. Flexible working options are available, with mentoring provided for new consultants. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of community-based patients under MHA provisions.
  • Coordinate with community psychiatric nurses and consultants.
  • Administer patient care with accurate record-keeping.
  • Participate in Trust's academic programme and CPD.
  • Conduct annual job plan reviews.
