A recruitment consultancy in the UK is seeking an experienced Homeless Prevention Officer to provide advice and support to vulnerable households. The role involves assessing homelessness applications and working with local authorities to mitigate risks of homelessness. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in housing departments and knowledge of relevant legislation. This is a temporary position expected to last 3-4 months.

We are seeking a very experienced Homeless Prevention Officer, with knowledge of the jigsaw case management system, to carry out day to day homeless prevention duties supporting people with their homeless needs by providing timely and appropriate housing advice and support to vulnerable households. The aim is to prevent and alleviate homelessness and where necessary be responsible for the investigation of homelessness applications in accordance with legislation and guidance.
