Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to perform day-to-day analysis of Wheat and Flour in Stockport. The candidate will maintain laboratory accreditations and ensure food safety standards. Prior lab experience and a related degree are advantageous. Responsibilities

  • Day to day analysis of Wheat and Flour in the lab.
  • Maintenance of CLAS and NABIM Accreditation for the laboratory.
  • Daily completion of lab testing and documentation.
  • Verifying product quality.
  • Completing customer certificates.
  • Collection, documentation, and storage of products.
  • Complete annual training review.
  • Ensure that excellent standards are established, maintained and developed making sure food safety is top priority.

Temporary ongoing full-time Monday to Friday 46 hours per week

Salary:

£12.21ph - 6am - 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6am - 1.30pm on Friday - overtime rate at time and a half any hours after 37.5 hours
