Qualifications

  • Prior experience in health-related roles, such as Liaison Officer or Health Worker.
  • Must identify as a non-smoker and hold a National Police Clearance.
  • WA Working with Children’s Check and COVID-19 vaccination status are mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct training and educational sessions on tobacco control strategies.
  • Coordinate smoking cessation events throughout the Derby region.
  • Establish partnerships with local organisations for smoke-free initiatives.
  • Advocate for Aboriginal clients in navigating smoking cessation services.
  • Guide the TIS team in delivering culturally appropriate care.
