Job summary
A leading Fresh Produce firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Technical Manager. The role involves overseeing the quality and compliance of products, supporting the Technical Director, and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and customers. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, alongside a solid understanding of food safety standards. Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role within food manufacturing is essential. This position offers an opportunity to drive continuous improvements across technical functions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role within food manufacturing/Fresh Produce.
- Understanding of BRC, HACCP, and TACCP.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Support the Technical Director to achieve quality and compliance objectives.
- Act as contact for customer technical queries and audits.
- Oversee supplier approval and compliance documentation.
- Conduct supplier visits to ensure adherence to standards.
