Colt provides network, voice, and data centre services to thousands of businesses worldwide, enabling them to focus on their core goals rather than infrastructure management.
Why we need this role
As a Senior Account Executive in our Large Enterprise Account Development team, your mission is to manage key accounts, revive, grow, and transform Colt’s presence across dormant, dim, and low-spend enterprise customers. You will create tailored account strategies, develop C-suite relationships, and lead multidisciplinary virtual teams to deliver business outcomes through Colt’s innovative portfolio.
What you will do
- Strategic Business Development: Lead growth strategies for a portfolio of dormant, low-engagement, or dark enterprise accounts. Re-energize relationships within complex organizations to re-establish Colt as a trusted partner. Identify whitespace opportunities and engage stakeholders at all levels with a consultative approach.
- Executive-Level Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, including CxO-level, aligning Colt’s solutions with customer outcomes. Drive strategic account planning and executive briefings to strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Data-Led Sales Execution: Use insights and analytics to prioritize opportunities, develop value propositions, and shape strategies. Manage pipeline and forecasting accuracy using modern sales methodologies like Challenger, MEDDPICC, SPIN.
- Revenue Generation & Cross-Sell: Expand Colt’s footprint within existing accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Colt’s portfolio, including cloud connectivity, SD-WAN, security, and voice.
- Internal Collaboration & Leadership: Coordinate virtual teams across Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Delivery. Act as a trusted advisor and mentor to less experienced colleagues and support peer enablement.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in B2B, ideally in digital infrastructure, telco, IT services, or SaaS.
- Proven ability to revive dormant accounts, activate whitespace, and exceed growth targets.
- Experience managing complex, multi-divisional enterprise accounts globally.
- Deep expertise in executive stakeholder management and strategic opportunity creation.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to align customer outcomes with solutions in networking, cloud, and digital transformation.
- Autonomous, entrepreneurial, outcome-driven mindset.
- Strong pipeline discipline, forecasting skills, and CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce).
- Experience with consultative and insight-led selling methodologies.
