Job summary
A leading waste management company is seeking a motivated Refuse Loader to join their team. You will assist in the collection of waste from residential and commercial areas, ensuring efficiency and safety in the process. This physically demanding role requires a positive attitude, teamwork, and communication skills. The position offers a 4-day work week, paying £12.94 per hour, with potential for a permanent placement. Ideal candidates should have a good understanding of health and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Ability to handle manual lifting of waste containers.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in waste management is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the driver in waste collection from various areas.
- Load waste containers onto the collection vehicle.
- Ensure waste containers are securely placed to prevent spillage.
- Maintain organized waste collection flow as part of the team.
- Adhere to safety guidelines to minimize workplace hazards.
- Address public inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
