Are you an experienced Porter / Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving License looking for a new role in a company with nearly 150 years of experience within the logistics and removals sector

Due to continued growth we are looking for a Class 2 Driver who is hard‑working and resilient as you’ll be delivering and loading / unloading a range of goods from furniture to high‑valued artwork. You’ll be part of a team delivering a premium service, loading and unloading while ensuring great care is put into the safe journey of our clients’ valued items and your colleagues.

• HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (essential)
• Team leading and/or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Digital Tacho Driver Card (essential)
• CSCS Green Card (preferred)
• Drivers Qualification Card (CPC) (essential)
• Knowledge of established legal tachograph procedures (essential)
• ADR – Packages (preferred)

• Vehicle daily checks of your allocated HGV Class 2 / 7.5t / 3.5t vehicle
• Ensuring the vehicle is equipped with all the relevant specialist equipment required for the day’s operation
• Lifting and packing a range of office furniture, soft furnishings, hardware, fine art, etc.
• Taking goods in or out of storage
• Lifting and moving loads in excess of 25kg
• Ensuring the highest of standards are met when on site
• Responsible for your health and safety and that of your colleagues
• Always deliver excellent customer care and service
• Working as an integral team member during larger specialist projects including laboratory and executive office relocations
• Complying with all company and health and safety procedures

As a Class 2 Driver you’ll receive a starting day rate of £130–140 depending on experience, plus incentives and a benefits package which will include an Employees Discount Scheme, Healthcare and Death in Service cover after 3 months.
