A reputable recruitment agency is looking for a CNC Miller based near Carmyle, Glasgow. The role involves setting and operating 5-axis milling machines with various shift patterns. Essential skills include experience in CNC milling and the ability to read engineering drawings. Conhecimentos
Salary: £22.01ph basic rate, £27.51ph shift rate
Location: based near Carmyle, Glasgow (G32)
Hours: 37 hours, Monday-Friday, 3-shift rotation
Contract: Permanent
Due to work requirements, you must be a British national or hold an EU passport.
- Mon to Thursday, 6 am - 2 pm & Friday, 6 am - 1.30 pm
- Mon to Thursday, 2 pm - 10 pm & Friday, 2 pm - 9.30 pm
- Mon to Thursday, 10 pm - 6 am & Friday, 10 pm - 5.30 am (option to start on a Sunday night or Monday night)
- Premium hourly rate + 25% shift allowance

- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Carry out machine adjustments, checks and basic maintenance
- Inspect finished components to tight tolerances
- Work closely with engineering and production teams
- Proven experience in 5-axis CNC milling
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Ideally time served or experience served
- Good communication and teamwork
