A specialist technical firm is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will program, set, and operate a Doosan Lathe, ensuring quality and efficiency in production. Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are now looking to recruit for a CNC Programmer who can program/set/operate a Doosan Lathe using Fanuc controls, working day shift only.

The Job you’ll do

• We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to work our Doosan Puma CNC lathe in our client’s workshops.
• Manufacturer supplying to customer’s all over the UK and overseas.
• Candidates will also carry out CNC milling work, though training can be given for the Milling.
• Ensure machines are running/programmed most efficient and always running.
• Ensure components coming off machines are to a high standard of quality and within supplied tolerances.

About You

• Time served CNC Programmer.
• Doosan Fanuc Lathe experience, desirable to also have CNC milling experience.
• Good problem solving & strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
