Job description
CNC Miller / CNC Machinist

Salary: £22.01ph basic rate, £27.51ph shift rate

Location: based near Carmyle, Glasgow (G32)

Hours: 37 hours, Monday-Friday, 3-shift rotation

Contract: Permanent

Due to work requirements, you must be a British national or hold an EU passport.

Shift patterns
  • Mon to Thursday, 6 am - 2 pm & Friday, 6 am - 1.30 pm
  • Mon to Thursday, 2 pm - 10 pm & Friday, 2 pm - 9.30 pm
  • Mon to Thursday, 10 pm - 6 am & Friday, 10 pm - 5.30 am (option to start on a Sunday night or Monday night)

CNC Miller Duties
  • Set, program and operate 5-axis milling machines

  • Carry out machine adjustments, checks and basic maintenance
  • Inspect finished components to tight tolerances
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams
CNC Miller Profile
  • Proven experience in 5-axis CNC milling
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Ideally time served or experience served
  • Good communication and teamwork
