To deliver high-quality psychological services to children, young people, families, and educational settings across Thurrock. The role focuses on applying psychological principles and evidence-based practices to enhance inclusion, learning, and emotional well-being for children and young people aged 0–25.

• Undertake psychological assessments and observations in accordance with the Children and Families Act 2014.
• Provide detailed psychological advice for EHCP assessments and annual reviews in line with statutory guidance.
• Collaborate with schools, families, and agencies to develop and implement effective action plans.
• Promote early intervention and problem-solving using consultation and formulation models.
• Deliver targeted cognitive, emotional, and behavioural interventions to support children’s development.
• Offer training and expert advice to schools to improve inclusion and emotional well-being strategies.
• Implement evidence-based interventions in partnership with schools to enhance academic and social outcomes.
• Support the adoption of the Graduated Approach to SEND provision.
• Contribute to whole-school strategies promoting positive behaviour, attendance, and mental health.
• Engage in multi-agency collaboration with SEND, Early Help, Social Care, Health, and CAMHS teams.
• Maintain HCPC registration and participate in supervision, reflective practice, and service development.
