A leading recruitment agency is looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to provide tailored one-to-one teaching in Maths and English to secondary-aged students in the SEN department. The role requires strong subject knowledge in Secondary Maths and English, along with experience in managing diverse learning needs, including ASD and Dyslexia. The ideal candidate will have QTS or relevant experience, creating a safe and nurturing learning environment while collaborating with staff. Full-time hours, located in Westminster.

Responsabilidades
- Provide one-to-one teaching in Maths and English to secondary-aged students.
- Deliver tailored lessons that meet individual Education Plans.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to students.

Educación
- Location: International School, SEN Department
- Borough: Westminster
- Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Role: SEN Teacher / Tutor (Secondary)
- Salary: M1 to M6 depending on expereince
- Provide one-to-one teaching in Maths and English to secondary-aged students within the SEN department.
- Deliver tailored, engaging lessons that meet individual Education Plans (EHCPs).
- Support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and Dyslexia, adapting teaching strategies to suit diverse learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and support staff within an international school environment.
- Monitor progress, set targets, and provide feedback to support academic and personal development.
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or proven experience as an SEN Tutor in secondary education.
- Strong subject knowledge in Secondary Maths and English.
- Experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and Dyslexia.
- Ability to differentiate, individualised lessons.
- Strong behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Experience working within an SEN or specialist provision is highly desirable.
- Enhanced DBS check (registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Two professional references.
- Relevant teaching qualifications and/or SEN training certificates.
- Safeguarding and child protection training
