senior sous chef | full time

The role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

What you will do:

• Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
• Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understand the financial aspects of the kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
• Foster a coaching culture, working with your Head Chef to recruit and develop your team.
• Be a proactive problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

What we look for:

• Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations and support your team.
• Excellent standards in food safety and health standards.
• Financial acumen related to kitchen operations.
• Experience managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.
• Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful environment.
• A proactive problem solver who thinks on their feet.
