What you will do:

1. Assume the role of Nurse in charge during some shifts, overseeing ward activities and ensuring the highest standards of care.
2. Account for all responsibilities associated with being the Nurse in charge, maintaining awareness of accountability.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs.
4. Support and mentor junior staff and act as a role model within the team.
5. Engage with patient families and carers to provide information, reassurance, and guidance when necessary.
6. Contribute to the development and review of care plans and maintain accurate patient records.
7. Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations, including maintaining up-to-date DBS checks.
