The key responsibilities of the Activities Coordinator include:- Developing and implementing a comprehensive activities program that promotes physical, cognitive, and social well-being for the residents- Collaborating with the care team to understand the individual needs and preferences of each resident- Organizing and leading group activities, outings, and events that foster a sense of community and engagement- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the activities program- Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants- Continuously seeking feedback and ideas from residents, families, and the care team to enhance the activities program

• The ideal candidate for the Activities Coordinator role will have:
• - Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care setting
• - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with residents of all ages and abilities
• - Creativity and imagination to design and implement engaging activities
• - Excellent organizational and time management skills
• - A passion for improving the quality of life for older adults and individuals with dementia
• - A valid driver's license
