A well-established transportation company in Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for vehicle inspections, servicing, and reactive maintenance on a varied fleet of commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in vehicle maintenance and be part of a close-knit, skilled team. The position offers a competitive salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Qualifications
- Experience with HGV vehicles and heavy loads.
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Teamwork skills within a mechanic setting.
Responsabilités
- Undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Conduct general servicing and planned maintenance.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT presents.

Established in 1950, they are a 4th generation family run business that helps clients from various sectors to transport their heavy loads across the UK and Europe. Whether they need them for one trip or to completely project manage their transportation requirements from start to finish.
They are now looking to recruit an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team.
Working in a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Vehicle inspections
- General servicing and pre-planned maintenance
- Reactive maintenance as required
