Job description

We are searching for a Senior Audio Visual Technician to lead the day-to-day delivery of AV services and ensure high-quality event production and technical operations. The role involves assigning and supervising daily tasks for AV technicians, setting up and operating AV, lighting, digital displays, IPTV, staging, and production systems, and maintaining secure control of AV assets and stock.

Working closely with the TV team, the Senior AV Technician supports filming and live streaming, oversees third-party contractors, and acts as a key point of contact for AV event planning. The role also supports AV bookings, staffing coordination, meetings, and accurate invoicing to ensure smooth service delivery.

Beyond technical delivery, the Senior AV Technician maintains high service standards, monitors performance, and drives continuous improvement. This includes training technicians, ensuring health and safety compliance, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and maintaining technical documentation. As a Fire Marshal and First Aider, the role contributes to a safe and professional working environment.

The position sits within the AV Team in the Operations Team, which delivers high-quality, cost-effective AV services across all venues, customers, and regions, working closely with Portfolio & Product Management and Engagement & Growth teams.
