We are looking for an experienced, confident and highly organised Compliance & Governance Lead to join our Temporary Staffing Services (TSS) team. You’ll play a central role in keeping our temporary workforce safe, compliant and ready to work, bringing together operational expertise with strong analytical thinking. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys improving systems, solving problems and leading on service governance in a fast-moving environment.
Your work will directly support safe staffing across the Trust and strengthen the quality, accuracy and reliability of our compliance processes and data.

As the TSS Compliance & Governance Lead, you will take responsibility for the oversight and day-to-day management of compliance for all bank and agency workers. You’ll provide expert guidance on right-to-work, DBS, recruitment checks, training compliance and agency framework standards, ensuring everything we do meets national and local requirements.
You’ll lead on escalation management, support TSS coordinators with complex queries, drive improvements in how we collect and use compliance data, and contribute to a more consistent and robust governance framework within TSS. You will also play a key role in analysing compliance information and reporting trends, helping the service make informed decisions. Working for our organisation UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.
If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
