Job Description

As a Customer and Risk Account Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial calculations, reporting and account amendments within a controlled framework. The role involves maintaining and testing financial models, processing customer account changes and supporting internal teams with precise calculations and reporting.

As a Customer and Risk Account Specialist we are looking for someone to:

  • Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and financial models.
  • Perform manual calculations and integrate them into semi-automated Excel models.
  • Analyse customer accounts, including interest-based calculations and account closure processes.
  • Process amendments to customer accounts, including credit file adjustments and data corrections.
  • Respond to ad-hoc queries and provide calculation support to internal customers.
  • Review and process daily BAU requests efficiently.
  • Create and run exception reports as part of the Customer Strategy Control Framework.
  • Assist in testing and reporting on customer account management tools and features.
  • Periodically test and maintain existing and new financial calculators/models
Qualifications
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Strong mathematical competency and analytical thinking
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Team Orientated with strong collaboration skills
  • Experience with VBA skills for financial modelling and automation
  • Experience with BI tools and database management
  • Background in risk management, customer account operations or financial analysis
  • Familiarity with data validation, reporting and control frameworks
