Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Bristol office.
Join our Analytics & AI Platform, the hub for enabling Analytics & AI within the organisation. This role sits within the Business Intelligence as a Service (BIaaS) lab, an enablement function focused on delivering our vision for the future of BI.
The keyword being "Enablement", therefore this role is NOT about developing BI Dashboards, Visualisations / Reports / Analytics, but about BI Platform Engineering which includes the Design, Build, Implementation, Scale-Out and Support of our strategic BI Applications and their related Products, Features, End-to-End Patterns/Blueprints, Best Practices, Ways of Working and Operating Models for success.
You must therefore be able to demonstrate experience of working with teams like Networking, Security, Architecture, Cloud Services and more; including a know-how of Software Engineering Principles and related common challenges, in order to deliver on our vision for the future of our BI Products and Services.
You'll work in a Feature Team within the BIaaS lab, together with a Product Owner and other multi-skilled Engineers, with a clear Vision, Key Results and Objectives ranging across the Build, Maturity and Support of:

We're embarking on building a Semantic / Knowledge Layer to enable a single source of truth and to power Conversational BI. We'll also be building BI Simplification capabilities (think BI Model/Metadata Accelerators).
