A leading technology consultancy is seeking a Lead Data Engineer for a 3-month initial contract, fully remote, to replace BYOD with Fabric and support the broader data strategy. The ideal candidate must have experience with Azure and active SC Clearance. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, defining data engineering processes, and supporting long-term BI and analytics vision. This role offers the possibility of extensions beyond the initial contract period.

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, focusing on Azure and Fabric.
• Active SC Clearance is essential for this role.
• Ability to support the long-term design of data platforms.

Lead Data Engineer (SC Cleared) - Initial 3 months Outside IR35 Contract

The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to replace BYOD with Fabric and support wider data strategies within the project.

Requirements :

• Required for the initial implementation of the Fabric replacement for BYOD
• Support moving CE / Scribe from Synapse Link to Fabric Link
• Perform audit reviews of PBI Tenant Settings / Workspace Access / Audit & Logging Settings
• Define PBI content release processes
• Define data engineering code release processes (ALM)
• Collaborate with end client in defining data export processes, policies and procedures
• Support long-term design of data platform
• Support long-term BI & analytics vision
• Active SC Clearance is ESSENTIAL
