A local charity shop in North Walsham is seeking volunteers to help staff their Community Shop. You'll operate the till, assist customers, and sort donations. This role requires a commitment to specific shifts, mostly in the morning or early afternoon. - Staff the Community Shop, operate the till, and interact with customers.
- Sort and collect donations in the town.
Role:
The aim of this volunteer role is to staff the Community Shop, working on the till, interacting with customers, sorting donations or collecting donations from around the town. If you enjoy meeting people and in raising funds for local projects, and would like to become a member of this very friendly team, then this role may be for you
Volunteers would work specific shifts and to be available on those days. If you were unable to make it on a certain day, it would be expected for you to let the volunteer coordinator know so that other arrangements can be made.
Time commitment:
The shop is open from 9 until 2, Monday to Saturday. Volunteering hours are flexible and would work mostly morning or early afternoon shifts as arranged.
About the organisation:North Walsham Community Shop is a registered charity (1178958) and raises funds that support local projects and events. There are two shops, the Community Clothes Shop and the main Community Shop for everything else.
