Job summary
A well-established interiors contractor seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This role involves managing project costs, preparing reports, and ensuring commercial success across high-quality interior fit-outs. Strong candidates will have a minimum of three years' experience in the sector and excellent commercial awareness.

Our client, a well-established and respected interiors contractor, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. Specialising in high-quality interior fit-outs, they deliver projects across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven QS to play a key role in the commercial success of fast-paced, high-specification projects.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Essential experience in any of the following:
Drylining
SFS (Steel Framing Systems)
Ceilings & Partitions
Plastering
Applicants without relevant interiors experience in these areas will not be considered for this role
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project costs from tender to final account
Prepare and evaluate subcontractor packages
Conduct site visits and liaise with project and site teams
Monitor and forecast project budgets and cash flow
Prepare monthly valuations, CVRs, and progress reports
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
Negotiate and manage contract variations and claims
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the fit-out or specialist interiors sector
Proficiency in JCT contracts and relevant construction law
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred)
Confident using Excel and estimating software
